Care & Maintenance 

Quality outdoor furnishings from Sunset West do require simple regular maintenance. Sunset West furnishings can last for many years of enjoyment when well maintained.

Aluminum Frames: Most natural elements such as dust and dirt can be rinsed off with water and a mild soap. To avoid hard water spots, dry furniture with a non abrasive cloth. If you do incur hard water spots on the frames, use an automobile wax to remove deposits from the frames.

Resin Wicker Frames: Use mild soap and water to rinse off dust and dirt.

Teak Accents: Teak can be left untreated and will turn to a natural silverish finish. Clean teak with mild soap and water using a soft bristle brush. Teak oil can be applied to intensify the color of natural teak. Once the finish degrades, use very fine sand paper to restore the fresh look of new teak. Apply teak oil after sanding the teak for best results.

Cushions: Sunbrella® is the finest outdoor quality fabric and by far the most durable. For light stains, dirt and soil use a mild soap and rinse with clear water and allow to dry thoroughly. For a more comprehensive cleaning guide, refer to Sunbrella website:
